Before opening my law practice, I obtained valuable experience through my previous position as Bankruptcy Counsel for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
Because I am a lawyer who handles many different practice areas, I am able to build long-term relationships with many of my clients. Individuals can turn to me for help whether they are trying to obtain compensation after being injured in a serious accident, handling contract disputes that affect their businesses, drawing up wills that concern their personal estates or trying to file for divorce. In fact, I can even represent individuals who are located overseas, as I have assisted clients in countries in Africa, Asia, Central America and the Middle East.

Over the years, I have established a strong reputation in my law career, which has allowed me to be selected for a number of important roles. I have been asked to share my legal knowledge with others by serving as a featured speaker at several seminars. I have also lectured extensively in Texas and Oklahoma since I am licensed to practice law in both of these states. In addition to gaining experience teaching about legal topics, I carried out a six-year term as a member of the Grievance Panel for the State Bar of Texas. This position involved addressing claims of misconduct that were made against other lawyers within the state bar.
Being active in my local legal community is important to me—I serve as a trustee for the Association of Women Attorneys Foundation, and as a member of the Association of Women Attorneys and the Houston Bar Association. I am admitted to practice law in various types of courts in both Texas and Oklahoma. I am admitted to handle cases that are heard in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Texas, the Western District of Oklahoma and the Northern District of Oklahoma, as well cases heard in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
